Best Australian Credit Cards for Airport Lounge Passes

Compare Australian credit cards with airport lounge access, from low-fee passes to premium unlimited entry, and find the right fit for your travel habits.

If you travel often, having a credit card that gives you airport lounge access can make a big difference. Instead of waiting at the airport, you can relax in a comfortable lounge, enjoy food and drinks, and sometimes even use the showers before your flight.

But not every card gives you the same number of lounge passes. Some cards only give you a few visits a year, while others offer 10, 15, or even unlimited lounge access.

So, to make it easy, I’ve picked my 4 best cards for different purposes first. This gives you a quick idea of which card might be the best fit for you.

A few important corrections

Bankwest More World is the standout. It’s $270/year and 10 lounge visits through Mastercard Travel Pass. Bankwest explicitly says the 10 visits are per account, and each visit can be used by either the primary cardholder or a guest.

CommBank Ultimate Awards: $35/month = $420/year, but the $35 monthly fee is waived when you spend $4,000 in that statement period. It gives 2 DragonPass/Mastercard Travel Pass lounge passes per calendar year.

ANZ: only the Frequent Flyer Black currently gives complimentary lounge invitations — 2 Qantas Club invitations per 12 months. ANZ confirms the Platinum doesn’t have complimentary lounge access.

Westpac: all three Altitude Black versions have 2 lounge benefits, but the type changes:

Rewards → 2 Priority Pass Qantas → 2 Qantas Club Velocity → 2 Virgin Australia domestic Qantas Money Platinum: 2 invitations, annual fee normally $399; currently $349 first year.

Qantas Money Titanium: it’s actually 4, not 2:

2 Qantas First Lounge 2 Qantas Club / International Business Annual fee $1,200.

MyCard Prestige: the 15-visit benefit is temporary. After January 2027 it will be only 2 visit.

Amex Platinum: unlimited access is a completely different category — it includes Priority Pass, Centurion, Plaza Premium and Virgin Australia lounges, although Amex is changing some guest/access rules from October 2026 but still unlimited access.
